Easy To Read application helps users with vision problem and dyslexia to read text from books easily.

* Launch the application and wait for camera to set preview mode.

* Use view finder to select the text you like to decode.

* Hold the phone steady and click on the shutter icon for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to start.

* Once completed the text will be displayed on the screen using Tiresias font (Helpful for dyslexic)

* Long press on the text for voice playback, copy and share.

It doesn't require internet and efficiency of OCR depends on light, font etc. It works best when few blocks of text are scanned.

It uses tesseract engine for OCR and this project is based on OCR Test by Robert Theis. The source code of this application can be downloaded from github.

DvntArt is a third party Android app that lets you browse the images posted on http://www.deviantart.com/.

You can choose your favorite category (Digital Art, Photography etc) and also sort based upon time and popularity.

1. Save images to your phone/tablet.
2. Set the image as your wallpaper.
3. Link directly to deviantArt website.

Permissions used:

1. android.permission.INTERNET -> To Access Internet
2. android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE -> To check internet connectivity before accessing internet
3. android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER -> To set the image as your wallpaper

Different layout for tablet and phone and it is switched automatically.

A reddit application which lets you browse the images.

1. Login using your reddit username/password.
2. upvote or downvote the post using the two arrows.
3. Write your reaction to the post.
4. View comments for the post.
5. Swipe left/right to go to next image.
6. Double tap on the picture for zoom
7. Save the picture to your sdcard
8. Choose your sub-reddit.

By default the image quality is determined based on the device memory capabilities. If you believe your device can handle high quality images (Eg: Tablet) set your image quality to High in settings.

Add, connect and manage Wi-Fi access point on your Android phone swiftly.

After installing the application, long press on the workspace then go to Widgets and select "Swift WiFi Pro" from the list.

1. Toggle Wi-Fi using the ON/OFF button
2. Connect to your preferred Wi-Fi access point
3. Click on the connected Access point to know the security, link speed, signal strength and IP Address.
4. Manage Wi-Fi access point (Delete unused access point)

Typing WiFi password is a hassle. Easy setup will generate a QR code of your connected network which you can later scan to connect.

A group of friends visit your house and you would like to share your WiFi with them. Instead of giving them your password in a piece of paper and then they type on their smartphone to connect, you can click on the easy setup button to generate the QR code. The phone which is connected to a WiFi network will generate the QR Code and the phone which is not connected to any WiFi network will enter scanning mode.

The QR code generated by this app is compatible with zxing (Barcode Scanner) app which has more than 50 million downloads. As long as your friends has this application or the most popular zxing application this method will work.

If your phone is rooted you don't need to type in your WiFi password to generate a QR code. It will all be done for you in a single click. If your phone is not rooted, or you don't want this application to have root access, you will need to type in your WiFi password to generate a QR code. This application does not use the INTERNET permission, so you can grant the app root access to read your WiFi password without worrying about bad things happening.

Sidebar in IAMA subreddit contain details about the upcoming IAmA's by prominent personalities. This application brings you that information to your smartphone with some added functionalities.

1. The list on the website defaults to eastern timezone. This app converts eastern time into your local time.

2. Ability to add the AMA to your calendar so as to alert you 5 minutes before the AMA session.

Reddit Music application streams music of your genre.

Browse all the music sub-reddit and click on the genre of your choice. Wait for the playlist to load and let the music to stream. To play music in background press the home key and to exit the application press the back key. Other functionality includes pause, forward, rewind, shuffle.
