The UAE National Day (UAE Union Day) is an official holiday and is extended for two days. Emiratis dance traditional folk dances, and military and air performances are also held in celebration of this UAE National Day.

The people usually celebrate the UAE National Day by wearing the colors of the UAE flag, decorating their homes and workplaces, cars, and streets, to celebrate the UAE National Day.
