Description
123ignition of the Netherlands has become a reputable name in the world of electronic ignition-systems for classic cars. The units are carefully designed with respect for the originality of the classic car. All 123ignition distributors resemble their mechanical counterparts. The outside looks 'original', the inside is 'high-tech' and performs its task without any wear.
With this application, you can wirelessly enter ANY advance-curve and ANY vacuum-curve into the new "123\Tune+" range of products. These units work CW ánd CCW, work on 6 Volt ánd on 12 Volt, and they're all equipped with a vacuum- / boost- sensor. You can activate a luxury rev. - limiter (random spark stealing) and you can 'immobilise' the ignition with a PIN-code, to prevent theft.
Now, with the engine running, your phone or tablet can be used to 'TUNE'......one can see the engine-speed, the generated advance, the time, the temperature of the distributor, battery-voltage, spark-energy, vacuum/boost, and...(provided your device is equipped with a GPS-module) the speed of the car. After activating the 'TUNE'-button, you can adjust the advance manually plus or minus 5 degrees in steps of a degree (crankshaft that is). This result will not be stored in memory though, but can come in very handy finding the optimum advance-curve for your car!
123\Tune+ distributors will be available to fit : Alfa, Austin, BMW, Citroen ( 2CV, DS and Traction ), Ford-Kent, Fiat, Jaguar, Lancia, Mercedes, MG, Midget, Mini, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Triumph, Volvo and Volkswagen. See our website for more details on the supported models.

So far it is working perfectly for me, as far as setting the ignition curve. But the meter display page could be a lot better. It's silly the ignition advance isn't the largest dial displayed!, you can barely see it on a cell phone while driving... and that is what the whole thing is for. Also, it would be nice to have some logging, rpm/advance/speed.

I've been in love with my 123 non Bluetooth ignition for many years. Would be amazing if the phone app had USB functionality. I would just use my USB adapter on my phone straight to the ignition.

Great hardware, the app crashed a number of times while I tried to initially configure the dizzy, but I expect it is just early teething problems

Installed it into my Morris Mini Cooper with easy to understand instructions. After some research found some curves on the internet which I programmed into the app. I subsequently uploaded the curve and car started first go and goes like a rocket. If I was going to suggest an improvement it would be that there were already a number of predefined curves within the app I could use.

This summer for some unknown reason the Bluetooth is not working. I have had the dizzy for 3 years no issues. I have done work on my car all winter to prep for this year. Come to use the app to check my timing, and it just does not connect any more (using Android) I have followed the steps to rest the dizzy and still no connection. Car is now a brick and undrivable due to no timing. Previously I thought this kit was great, but now it seems very fragile.

Latest App version 3.2.7 doesn't connect at all on my Samsung Galaxy A50 phone - it connected OK once, then when attempting to write curves, or use dashboards it has never successfully reconnected properly since, on the Settings Page in the App the device just whirs round and the 'last seen' clock ticks up every three seconds or so, so it doesn't appear to handshake its Bluetooth connection properly. This means most functions on the Tune+ are now unusable. After a Google search it appears I'm not the only one suffering with this... suggestion is an Apple device will work instantly... The Support page at 123.nl says it requires Bluetooth 4.0 low power - My newish Galaxy phone uses Bluetooth 5.0, maybe this is the issue? (although it is about a year old!) Currently, cannot recommend this app/dizzy combo at all if you have a newish Galaxy as its unusable.

Is there an update for this app? This one seems to be 3 years old I cant get it to connect to my distributer anymore
