Easily the best magazines on culture & societies I came to know about this magazine through a friend of mine who sent me a link of an article. That article was one of the sweetest thing I have read on India. There was no BS, just plain story with no judgements. Most of the stories of this magazine read like a poetry. Beautiful and mind hooking To be honest, a lot of the topics aren't even what I'm interested in, but it's so amazing how well their written that I don't care. Highly recommend to anyone who likes reading. I repeat, anyone who likes READING. If the economist, which I live to read, is my weakly story box of well written stories on current events that matter, than 1843 is a beautiful, mind centering magazine that puts me into a state of Zen.

Can't read Can't read articles, just visualise some advertising. Is different with the literary jewels issue, it is possible to read, why this happen?

I will reinstall when you folks figure out how to save issues on external SD card, rather than camera's limited storage. But I did enjoy reading one issue!
