This is amazing! This is the only app I've found that uses my s20+ DoF sensor for 3d scans, which is way more accurate than camera data only. The settings like filtering data capture by distance are great! The pointcloud feature is also awesome, it's so helpful for 3d modeling projects! One feature I'd love to have is the ability to capture a pointcloud without saving any photo data; the "dataset" photos take up a lot of space when I often just want to gather a pointcloud.

This 3D scanner works beautifully when the person holding the phone takes their time, holds phone stable/steady and allows data to be collected by it's sensors. Highly recommend it for fun and even more serious uses. If the received image comes up warped or squed, redo it. The issue was operator impatience or the phone was not held parallel to object being scanned. Great app, great job!!! Thank you.

The most atrocious pathetic joke of a 3D object scanner I have ever experienced. This tech is not ready for release, not even close. Depth API did not function, texture resolution is worse than a 1980s game console, polygon mesh looked like something out of a malfunctioning Nintendo 64 console, and then the app froze. Utterly useless gimmick, most likely because cellphones are not up to the task of 3D scanning, nor is the software.
