Description

The 3D Rat Anatomy app is an interactive model designed for students, teachers and researchers to visualize the basic anatomy of a lab rat.

This app let you explore the anatomy of a rodent that is widely used in scientific research, the Rattus norvegicus. The interactive three-dimensional model allows visualizing the internal structures of the rat, such as bones, muscles, respiratory, digestive and urogenital systems, as well as the main vessels and nerves.

Each anatomical system can be viewed and manipulated layer by layer or simultaneously with other layers, at various zoom levels. Individual anatomical structures can be highlighted and display a caption, or they can be removed to permit viewing of deeper structures.

Available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese and Latin.

This App is intended to be a supplemental educational resource and should NOT be used as the only source of educational information, nor should the Software be used as medical advice or for medical diagnoses of any kind.

A 'must have' companion for anyone studying biology or medicine that does dissections or autopsies. Best anatomical companion product I have ever come across! If you like to visualize ideas while learning, then this is potentially more useful than any great book (and believe me I have read a lot of them)
