4D Maze

★★★★★ True 4D Excellent 4d maze. Also the dev is very prompt and helpful with any queries you may have :-):-)

★★★★★ Less than a megabyte puzzle game! Amazing! It is fun, because it makes you think and search for a path in a complicated maze, though the hard ones are usually solvable in a couple of minutes, after you get how it works. It is not *technically* 4D because it consists of a countable, even *finite* number of layers of 3D spaces. More specifically, 3: a red, a green and a violet layer. For a real 4D, there must be at least an infinite 4th axis. Nevertheless, the game is fun. Small + no extra junk.

★★★★★ I don't know what people are expecting? How else do you think you could represent the 4th dimension of a 3d shape on a 2d screen?? This visualizes it perfectly. Well done!

★★★★★ Finally Finally a 4d maze on mobile. Works fine for small and hard mazes, but too messy on extra hard cuz it's often unclear which of the 4d layers the sphere occupies. The sphere is big and covers the tubes of other color, too. Maybe you need to make the distance which represents 4d longer. Controls are ok though often I'd move the sphere in a wrong direction

★★☆☆☆ Interesting concept, but the app itself needs improvement. I suggest disabling camera "momentum" as it makes changing the view difficult. I also suggest improving the generation of the mazes, as right off the bat I had an impossible maze the first time I generated a "hard" maze. I think a temporary fix would be to check if the generated maze is possible before loading it. An algorithm that checks to see if there is a path from the starting point to the goal shouldn't be too hard to make. Whenever I swipe the screen, the view keeps going even after my finger is no longer giving input. I suggest adding some code that stops the camera from moving if the user is not giving any input. As for the graphics, I would add an option for semi-transparent pipes, so that other pipes are visible through them. Red, green, and blue pipes. If all three colored pipes intersect in a spot (assuming 4d shear is disabled) you just add the RGB values so that in this example the intersecting pipes would appear white. ★★☆☆☆ Its not a true 4d maze, but rather a 3d maze wwith an extra dimensin. i know that should add up to 4d but its not 4d its still just 3d
