UI takes some time getting used to, but it's fine. For scanning product data, it's as good as it can be considering all the caveats user-populated data entails. For updating product data, there are considerable flaws (no consistent way to remove wrong language entries, poor quality of ingredient scanning for non-European languages, less-than-responsive photo selection interface, database issues where some products get stuck updating, lack of export option etc.), but it's serviceable overall.

Really helpful negotiating allergies, especially as my child is allergic to palm oil which can be easily searched for and filtered out in the settings. It would be great if there could be additional customizable filters for ingredients not in the standard allergen matrix (for instance coconut) to help those of us with more unusual allergies. Thanks.

It says "barcode of the product does not exist" on practically all the food products I scan.

Open food facts is good in theory. The unfortunate reality is the user maintained database which is horribly inaccurate. I used OFF to check my calorie intake and every single product has wrong data with discrepancy measured in a thousand of calories.

Seems like it would be a really nice app, but unfortunately it seems under the filters there's nothing for beef and/or lamb allergies. I'd have to select vegetarian, but that's not ideal.

Initially downloaded the same by watching some advertisement but not Woth downloading for many products it doesn't have any data available to show so not useful at all. Idea was good but not implemented properly.
