★★★★★ App is NOT working on Android 8.1. App was working (and very well) on my old TV box running Android 5.1. According to the logs in the UI it's receiving a SIGTERM and dying in nmbd.c at line 70. Note that it /is/ working until it dies, I can browse for files from my computer and see them over the link to the server but it typically dies after 10-20 seconds and has to be restarted, then same again. I suspect the problem may be a result of limitations or security measures in the newer android release in which case it may not be fixable but I'm hoping the author can take a look at it at some point. Can I also take this opportunity to thank Google for stripping all the line breaks from my review making it less readable and forcing me to go in and edit again so it looks less ambiguous in places. 5 stars, really helpful. ~mumble~

★★★★★ SEE EDIT Works well. Very flexible options yet simplified. Thanks for this ---------------------- EDIT 2019 Used to be 5 stars but dev seems to have abandoned the project and doesn't work for the last few versions of Android. No longer recommended. Servers Ultimate Pro is what I use now.

★★☆☆☆ Not working, should have a warning that this is a root app...

★★☆☆☆ FYI for everyone on MARSHMALLOW/CM13 : SELinux has to be set to permissive for this app to work, otherwise it does not start. 5 stars if the dev figures out how to start samba server with SELinux set to enforcing, if that can me done at all. Also please add this to your FAQ. Edit: Does not work at all anymore either because of android 7 or 64bit CPU as I just changed my phone.

★★☆☆☆ Doesnt work. Cannot change share folder. Cannot start server with default share. Cannot add another share (cause the app is crippled to death to force buying). Waste of LOTS of space compared to other share apps (27mb vs 2mb for Samba File Sharing for Android?!)
