Permissions: Root: SetCPU needs root permissions to modify the CPU speed and other settings.
Read logs: is used for efficient app condition checking. That is currently all it's used for.
Start at boot: SetCPU will start a profiles service at boot, if enabled. It also sets default boot settings, if enabled. SetCPU does not run in the background if profiles are not enabled, and becomes inactive after settings, if any, are applied.
Wake lock: This prevents the phone from sleeping while stress testing and benchmarking.
Write external storage: SetCPU needs to read from and write to the SD card or internal storage to back up profiles.
Read phone state: The "in call" condition needs this to determine if the user is making a phone call or not, and trigger the profile if the user wants to.
Recent changes: Updated libraries and removed store icon.

Definite must, however I'm finding the app crashes when I try to use on my
OnePlus One with Lineage 14.1. Not a crash to home or black screen, it
simply hangs after trying to detect device. If you set root to always
allow, the app instantly crashes when you try to relaunch it from stopped.
I did love this app for my Motorola Defy and Defy+.

This app used work on my HTC Incredible phone. Years later I have the HTC U11 and U12+ both rooted and this app just goes to a blank screen when you open it up. I paid for this app and it is now rubbish. The Dev should be updating the app or refund everyone their money.

Didn't work for me either. Gave it root permission, and it just came up to a black screen. Used it a while back on my phone but doesn't work on my tablet
