Great app, great community and developer support. Have used this app for many years!!!

★★★★★ Jaap Thind · Jul 17, 2026

Tasker is easily the most transformative app I have ever purchased for my Android device. While it may have a steeper learning curve than your average utility, the sheer amount of control it grants you over your phone’s behavior is unparalleled. It turns your smartphone into an intelligent device, allowing you to automate everything from system settings to complex background tasks based on triggers like location, time, or specific app activity. The development team has done a remarkable job.

Any plans to add isAccessibilityTool? Under Android 17 Advanced Protection blocks Tasker's accessibility service. I don't want to turn off Advanced Protection entirely, but I don't want to lose my Tasker automations that rely on the accessibility service! How do I get the direct purchase version, as I have already paid for the Google Play version?

Powerful automation app. I use this to switch between Wi-Fi ssids and automate my lighting

Does not work tried all different ways to make the task it said it could do and keeps saying to change the battery settings which has already been done

★☆☆☆☆ Mike Edge · Apr 16, 2026

This app used to work great but for some reason it doesn't auto connect to hotspot when in my car anymore?? Once I set the auto hotspot in tasker I never have to touch anything on my phone coz tasker would do it automatically, but now I have to do it manually even tho I've set it in tasker... Also, the software in this app has changed after android's update to 16 whereas now because of this I need to download another app called shiatsu which I might add is totally useless to access tasker!!!

★☆☆☆☆ Chew Wei Quek · Oct 2, 2026

Before this app, I didn't even know that there are so many permissions to give and how one app can have so many useless popups (useless as in, you are describing it in your vocab.) they said this is the app closest to iOS's Shortcuts, oh please. The UI doesn't make sense at all and its unique nomenclature - "context" is just trigger/condition, the samples are not intuitive too. I'd rather code then. I am too late to request a refund, but not you. You still have a choice.
