This is a really good book knowing the volumes what it originally wanted to speak and how the author was forced to yone it down and essentially rework the entire story made it more pathetic, but I really respect the book

The MC comes off as rather pathetic, regardless of whatever other mental health issues they're dealing with. The best friend comes off as a total Stacy. The new friend is bland and uninteresting. The scenarios are uninspired. The story has some unrealistic depictions of self-harm, including a rather dismissive scene involving suicide.
