Android Marshmallow 6.0.0 has problems when all sounds are unlocked. This is fixed in Marshmallow 6.0.1. If your device is on 6.0.0 and cannot upgrade to 6.0.1 it might be a good idea not to unlock all the sounds.

A Soft Murmur lets you share your mixes with friends using Facebook Messenger, Twitter, SMS and hundreds of other apps. If your friend has A Soft Murmur installed they can open your mix in the app. If they don't, they can listen to your mix online.

I love this app. I've used it every night for years now. I only have 2 complaints that stop me making these 5 stars. Firstly, sometimes it will just stop playing in the middle of the night for no reason, I thought it was updating, but it's far more frequent than updates are installed. The sudden silence wakes me up and ruins what would've been a great night's sleep. Secondly, it won't stop playing from the notification tray, despite giving me the option to, it does nothing.

Works wonderfully and doesn't drain battery like some other background noise apps. I've never had a problem with this. The sounds are good and no audible looping.

Been using this for almost ten years, decided recently to purchase one of the sounds but have now since moved to a subscription model and my previous purchase is now incompatible? Really? Awful business practice or some very, very poor oversight.

2/5 for weird pro version bug. For those who paid for yearly subscription, then randomly the pro version doesn't work and the dev isn't responding to emails, ive found a fix. Cancel your subscription via Google, enter the app, click the upgrade button. Itll prompt u to resubscribe but u don't have to pay (you've already paid for the year, next payment occurs from original payment date). Subscription will return and u can redownload your pro sounds. Annoying, but get your moneys worth!
