Description
Perform Aadhaar authentication even without fingerprint sensor device and on all android devices running OS version 3.1 and above. Aadhaar AuthClient Plus allows anybody who is possesing the Aadhaar number to authenticate himself/herself using demographic and/or biometric detail in real time with UIDAI server.
The following modes of authentication are supported:
1) Authentication using Biometrics(fingerprint) data: User scans his fingerprint using a fingerprint scanner and performs authetication. The android device should must support USB host mode. Currently three fingerprint sensors namely Futronics FS88 , Authentec ET500 and Authentec ET700 and MFS100 are supported. However,for using Authentec ET500 and ET700 scanners the mobile phone or tablet should be rooted.No rooting is required for Futronics FS88.For buying fingerprint scanners contact sales@smartid.in
2) Authentication using Personal Identity: User enters all or any of his personal details( Name, Gender, DOB, Age, Phone/Mobile Number, Email Address) and performs authentication. User need not enter all fields.
3) Authentication using Personal Address: User enters all or any of his personal address details(Care Of, Landmark, Locality, Village/Town/City, District, Building, Street, Post Office Name, Sub District, State, Pin Code) and performs authentication. User need not enter all fields.
4) Authentication using Mixed mode: User enter any combination of Biometrics, Personal Identity and Personal Address details and performs authentication. For example user can enter biometrics detail followed by Personal Identity and press authenticate button on any of the screens.
Potential Applications:
1) KYC: The application can be used to verify personal details and address of any customer having Aadhaar number for opening an account or issuing a sim card.
2) Aadhaar number validation: The application provides a way to validate your generated aadhaar number and the personal details provided by you at the time of Aadhaar Enrollment.
3) General: Verify identity and address of anybody whom you are intending to hire as driver or maid or even renting your house/flats.
