Works well on Android Auto! Sometimes the display is not updated, e.g. the progress bar or the song title. Might be because Android freezes the process on the phone? It's updated again when I press prev/next song on the car.

Works great! Only thing that doesn't seem to always work consistently is seeking via the progress bar. sometimes works doesn't for some reason. Otherwise this is a must-have, and it is shocking to me that Android auto doesn't handle this functionality built in.
