I have bought Two+ version, and got a connection problem. The support team was very amazing with fast response. Now swap to iphone and android very smooth, and the connection was very stable, recommended.

My overall experience with AA Wireless has been good. When I connected it the first time I had issues and no one from the app responded. Eventually got it to work and paired a second one for another vehicle with no problem. For others, we didn't get sound through the car speakers for maps or messages. Media yes, but not maps. Turned out, Maps and Textra needed permission to "draw over other apps" to send voice through Android Auto. Used for 8 months without knowing this due to lack of response.

Worked great then my AA wireless Two + "Bricked". I bought the unit in February 2026. It worked flawlessly until last week Then I think it tried to update the unit firmware, and it must have "bricked". The unit no longer responds at all. I did all the troubleshooting and it's still dead. I have written to support for an RMA to return the unit for repair/replacement. I'll keep you posted on what happens. Too bad really it was just so great having current Nav apps & all kinds of music.

Latest firmware update won't download, so the device can't be updated. Works fine, but where's the point if I can't keep it up to date?

Usually great, but having to rate low because for the last couple of months the standby feature stopped working and my phone randomly connects to my car when it's off, and I'm inside the house. Happens at least several times daily.

I have been using these devices for years. Two cars two phones two AA wireless two devices. The last three days have been HELL. The devices have forgotten how to put themselves into standby and CONSTANTLY try to reconnect and start android auto when the cars are off sitting in the driveway. This EATS battery. Its bad enough that both my wife and I uninstalled the app. Now both devices are unplugged. Something has gone very wrong with this devices' ecosystem.

Disable Battery Optimization, AA wireless 2+ Defunct-Disable auto connect feature stopped working, and I am back to unplugging the dongle when I use it. The update initially worked for about 1 month. In evitable an update to my phone caused something to change. I have a pixel 9. It was very reliable. I reset the dongle and performed a complete reinstall, and I still cannot use the auto power off feature. I should have known it was too good to be true. Now it's no better than a lower tier unit.
