Best dongle ever. Connects quicker once you start the car. Highly recommended for people who have car audio builds and needed android auto and Apple Carplay while listening to good music. This app allows you to disable media sink, which will reroute the audio to the usb port in phone. Then an usb c adapter to dsp finishes the job.

A great device and the app is not too bad. My only down mark is that there should be a way to have the device go into Auto Off, but there isn't. If you plug this into an always on USB port then if you are close to your vehicle you will always connect to the Bluetooth of the AA Wireless over other Bluetooth devices.

Worked great then my AA wireless Two + "Bricked". I bought the unit in February 2026. It worked flawlessly until last week Then I think it tried to update the unit firmware, and it must have "bricked". The unit no longer responds at all. I did all the troubleshooting and it's still dead. I have written to support for an RMA to return the unit for repair/replacement. I'll keep you posted on what happens. Too bad really it was just so great having current Nav apps & all kinds of music.

Worked well for me in a 2017 VW with Google Pixel 8 + Pixel 10, until suddenly both phones unable to detect the AA Wireless dongle despite the correct LEDs showing. That turned out to be the March 2026 Pixel update at fault - my old Android tablet was still able to connect, so I knew the dongle was not broken. I repaired the Pixel connectivity by 'forgetting' the AA Wireless Bluetooth pairing and clearing the AA Wireless app cache+storage and restarting the pairing process.

Disable Battery Optimization, AA wireless 2+ Defunct-Disable auto connect feature stopped working, and I am back to unplugging the dongle when I use it. The update initially worked for about 1 month. In evitable an update to my phone caused something to change. I have a pixel 9. It was very reliable. I reset the dongle and performed a complete reinstall, and I still cannot use the auto power off feature. I should have known it was too good to be true. Now it's no better than a lower tier unit.

It is very annoying that the device is still trying to connect to wireless even though the car is in the garage and not driving. I understand my car's USB is turning ON at times, but there should be a setting that disconnects wireless when home Wi-Fi is connected to the phone.

I have been using these devices for years. Two cars two phones two AA wireless two devices. The last three days have been HELL. The devices have forgotten how to put themselves into standby and CONSTANTLY try to reconnect and start android auto when the cars are off sitting in the driveway. This EATS battery. Its bad enough that both my wife and I uninstalled the app. Now both devices are unplugged. Something has gone very wrong with this devices' ecosystem.
