Very average. I recommend using Maps ME with downloadable (offline) maps covering Abel Tasman and walking tracks. I was able to use the route function to accurately time my walks.

Most of the tabs in the app don't seem to work. Phone shows me when it's downloading and nothing is downloading. Can't see plants, wildlife, points of interest, history, marine life, walks, get involved or donate. Map works, weather works. Sitting here with fast Wi-Fi connection, also tried 4g. Huawei P30 Pro phone.

Downloaded the app, but then it bombed out when loading the content. Using Android 5.1.1 on Sony Xperia Z. Unable to use at all.

When offline, which you are often when tramping the app is no use. Please do not download expecting to actually use this app when tramping.
