Acalanto: Baby Cry & Shush

Baby crying doesn't come with subtitles. Acalanto helps you understand.

Every parent has been there: the baby is crying and you don't know if it's hunger, sleep, belly pain, discomfort, or just gas. Acalanto uses AI to analyze the sound of the cry and suggest the most likely cause — right on your phone, no internet needed.

How it works
🎙️ Record 5 seconds of your baby's cry
🤖 Analysis happens 100% on your device — no audio is ever sent to any server
💜 See the most likely cause: hunger, sleep, belly pain, discomfort, or gas

Recommendations based on pediatric guidance
For each result, Acalanto shows practical tips based on guidance from the SBP (Brazilian Society of Pediatrics) and the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) — hunger cues, sleep routines, colic relief, and more.

Sounds to calm down
🎵 White noise and a lullaby, with the option to layer in "Shush"
⏱️ Play continuously or set a timer to stop on its own
🔊 Safe-use tips (volume and distance) based on AAP guidance

Why Acalanto
✔️ Works 100% offline — your privacy comes first
✔️ No sign-up, no login
✔️ No subscription, no payment

⚠️ Acalanto is a support tool, not a substitute for medical care. If crying persists, changes pattern, or comes with fever or vomiting, see a pediatrician.

Remember: crying is how a baby communicates, and it's normal to cry 1 to 4 hours a day. The most important thing isn't making the crying stop right away — it's being present and comforting your baby through it, together.
