I have compared the readings to this compass to a military lunatic compass and the readings match to the degree. The main thing one has to remember is to check the sensitivity to make sure the sensitivity is excellent. If it isn't, it's really easy to go into calibrate mode swing a few figure eights, and it'll show excellent sensitivity, and you're good to go.

Good and good-looking My only beef is that it really should have some way of calibrating for true north. Hard to use with a map without that. Other compasses do that, but they're ugly and assault you with ads.

Robert Gash Not a good app at all. Turn it on three times in the same place, and you get three completely different North directions. A load of crap.

Need constantly Calibration I have remove tablet from the case in order to avoid interference from metallic parts. Still prompts for calibration...

Accuracy!!!! Nice app but not reliable on accuracy even after calibration. Used On Sony Xperia S LT26i. Maybe my phone as other similar apps are worse.
