ACode app is bad, just like most Android applications. More than 20 years ago, there was Notepad++, which was better and smarter than this editor. One of the main reasons for the poor quality of Android apps—along with other factors—is that many Android developers lack the competence required to build solid applications. They exploit the demand gap to lead projects that are bigger than their actual capabilities. The result is silly applications that represent delay rather than progress.

On my s26 ultra, totally useless, I've installed this free version since I need to update code in the app I'm building, and see how the app performs, once in a folder and allowing permission, get to my folder with the text I needed to edit, add pops up, and you have to watch it till it ends, at the end you see X at a left top corner that should get you out of the ad page but nothing, I've re_lunched the app again and same result, so to me, it's useless and won't be getting a paid version since

Weird ads of some clearly predatory game app every time you close the app. Worse still, you can't close the app either, the ads FORCE you to play the game instead. You have to do some maneuvering to actually avoid the forced game. And that's how I decided it is enough, and uninstall the app.

Sometimes when deleting a word, it making the word before merge to the deleted word, forcing me to delete the whole line.
