Across Client

★★★★★ Fire HD 10 (2019) to Windows 10 PC via a cheap BT4.0 USB adapter. Connected without little hassle, stays connected. Able to use my PC's mouse/KB to control my Android tablet like it was a second screen. Can drag cursor to tablet, but it does not drag back. I like the shortcut keys to switch between devices, but I cannot change it to something one-handed (sending CTRL/CTRL doesn't work in AHK). Dragging would be nice, but the shortcut key is a great alternative that also avoid accidental dragging. I like that it can instantly wake my device if I (1) drag over, or (2) switch using shortcuts. Relative cursor movement don't work well for me. The first one does not show current cursor position.

★★★★★ Great App for my Galaxy Tab S6 sitting next to Windows Desktop. Moves keyboard and mouse control perfectly from PC screen to tablet screen (in Dex Mode) and input on tablet is responsive and precise. Works on normal Android UI as well (non Dex mode) but then seamless mouse transfer can be a little hit-and-miss. (loose one star) However the hotkey transfer of control is reliable. Overall very happy and paid US$10 for a year subscription (Win or OSX desktop product which is also required).

★★☆☆☆ I use "Across" so that I can use my PC mouse with my tablet. I want to be happy with this program, but it only barely works like it is supposed to because it will cause your apps to lag and disconnect. 1.) I don't understand why we can't assign our own hotkey to switch the devices. We can only use the middle mouse button. If I am on a website and I press the middle mouse button it starts doing some weird scroll stuff. If I am watching a video and I press the middle mouse button, it will pause or play the video. I wish that I could assign a custom hotkey like F1-F12 or the tilde key and use the hotkey with modifiers like the Shift and Ctrl key. Even better if we could use more than one modifier at the same time as Shift + Ctrl + F1. 2.) Most of the time, it takes 4-8 button presses to switch to the tablet device. I wish that it always worked on the first press, but it doesn't. On average, it takes at least four presses each time. Almost always more. Rarely less. 3.) I feel like I suffer connectivity issues as a result of this program. When I am on Cam frog, the program often disconnects or all the videos that I am watching go on pause. If I click play on them, they all go on pause again a second later. When I am using Meet Me Live, the videos sometimes start lagging really bad. I suspect that this "Across" program is interfering with the Wi-Fi signal or something. I tried shutting off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on any devices that I don't need or use, and I put those devices far away, but I am still suffering some connectivity issues on my tablet (not my laptop). UPDATE: I can confirm that "Across" is interfering with Cam frog. As soon as I disabled the "Across" connection, Cam frog worked flawlessly. UPDATE #2: I stopped using Cam frog on the tablet and decided to only use Meet Me Live and POF Live because they seemed to experience less connection issues. But of course, the connection issues affect those apps as well, but maybe not as bad. So that's why I changed my rating from 3 Stars (Just OK) to 2 Stars (Didn't Like It). I just want a program that uses Bluetooth or USB and doesn't have these connection interference problems.

★★☆☆☆ After some time I installed again the across center. It has broken my Windows, blue screen on each startup. I fixed it only with manually removing the USB drivers, uninstaller didn't work in safe mode.
