Best Video Player...just a few suggestions UPDATE: I still love this app but it as a quirk on the Nexus 5; I can't play a video by selecting it from the notification bar. It always fails if I try to play a video that way. ************************************************ I purchased this app after using the trial for a while and loving it. I love that it can play in the background and I absolutely LOVE the gestures! I find myself wanting to use them even when I'm streaming videos from YouTube. One of only issues I have with the app is the 1.5-second mute you get when switching to and from background playing. It would be nice if you could switch to background mode just by pressing your Home button instead of having to bring up the menu and then selecting "play in background" in order to switch to background mode. Another suggestion is to have the video controls such as fast-forward 10 seconds, rewind 10 seconds, pause, and play available from the notification bar drop-down menu when in background mode. Even still, I'd highly recommend this app!

Installed trial – immediately says trial expired. I have installed 20 or so video players, none of which does all that I would like in a video player. Installed trail for this app to check it out… immediately says trial has expired. What gives? People, if they can’t even get their trial to work right, who would spend money on a paid version? Either that, or it is a pay before you try, we will refund your money, if you don’t like it (unless you have used it for over 15 minutes), bulls ht. So, is it coding flaws or ethics flaws? So, being forced to buy it, I did. Says it has AB play mode but requires you to make bookmarks to use… which are not an option (grayed out). What can I say? Mfr forced me to buy their product to test it, and it didn’t work right, go figure. Maybe that is why trial no longer worked… got to make their money somehow. Pass that 15-minute window, and they still get paid.

Completely broken since 1/31/24 update. I've used this app daily for years and I generally love it, but since the 1/31 update there's a persistent message that an upgrade is needed tho it's already installed. No results with close or force stop so for now the app is completely useless. Update 2/5/24: Problem persisting so uninstalled/re-installed. Upgrade message still there and app unusable. No reply from developer to problem report.
