Is it true that goldfish only remember three seconds? That lightning never strikes the same place twice? Pick a side, then see the source.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
• Hunch: a short daily set of true-or-false claims. Call each one, flip the card, and see the answer with a source you can open. No mic needed.
• Your Move: send a set of claims to a friend as a challenge link and see who gets more right.
• Fact or Cap · Hot Seat: 3 to 6 players, one phone. Read a card word for word with a straight face. It is real or twisted, and the others let it stand or call cap. No mic, and it does not use your minutes.
• Sooner or Later: 2 to 8 players, one phone. Put events in order on one line, then flip to see the year. No mic, no minutes.
Game cards are drafted with AI, then reviewed and approved by a person. They can still be wrong: tap Dispute if you spot one.
FACT-CHECK WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Put your phone on the table and keep talking. Actually listens through the microphone, picks out factual claims and fact-checks them as you listen, with a verdict, a short explanation and sources where found. It is a hands-free AI fact checker for everyday conversations, podcasts and myths.
HOW IT WORKS
• Tap the mic once and leave the phone on the table. Keep the app open while it listens; the screen stays on.
• Actually transcribes what people say and picks out factual claims: numbers, dates, names, events.
• Each claim gets a verdict: True, False or Misleading. Claims that can't be checked, such as claims about a private person or statements too vague to check, are marked Unverifiable.
• Questions get a short answer, marked Answered. Debatable opinions become neutral questions answered with the evidence for and against. Matters of taste, like "pizza is the best food", are skipped.
• Each verdict comes with a short explanation and, where found, the sources behind it.
WAYS TO FACT CHECK
• Live mode: fact checking while people talk.
• Record mode: record now, then review the transcript and the checked claims.
• Screenshot Fact-Check: pick a screenshot of a post or a headline from your photos and check the claims in it.
• Quick Research: ask a question by voice or by typing and get a short answer with sources.
• Deep Research: a longer report on a question, built from more sources.
• Trusted Sources: choose the source types and sites you prefer for Research and re-checks.
• History: past sessions, transcripts and verdicts in one place. Export any session as a PDF.
WHEN TO USE IT
• A friendly argument about a fact, settled with sources instead of opinions.
• Game night, with a Hunch, a bluff or a timeline.
• Family dinners, when someone says "everybody knows that...".
• A podcast, a talk or the news playing near your phone.
• A myth you have heard all your life.
• A viral post someone sent you, checked from a screenshot.
GOOD TO KNOW
Fact checking needs facts. Small talk has few of them, so a short casual chat may show no claims. For a first try, play a minute of a podcast near your phone, read a few myths out loud, or open today's Hunch.
MINUTES AND PLANS
New accounts get 60 free minutes that never expire. Optional subscriptions and credit packs are available in the app, where current prices are shown. Some plans and packs give minutes that expire; minutes from Eternal plans and packs never expire. The Store shows which is which before you buy.
LANGUAGES
Actually is developed and tested mainly in English. You can choose other languages in the app, and accuracy varies by language.
Actually is an AI tool. It can miss a claim or get one wrong, so open the sources when a verdict matters to you.
Recent changes:

• Live: fewer words lost between segments
• History: Live / Recorded / Screenshot badges
