ADB Nexus: Debloat & ADB Shell

ADB without a PC. ADB Nexus runs a real ADB shell on the phone in your hand, over Wireless debugging, with no computer, no cable and no root.

Pair once and you can open a terminal, remove preinstalled apps, move files, install APKs, read logcat and inspect every part of the device. On a phone with the secure settings permission granted, ADB Nexus turns Wireless debugging back on and reconnects to itself after a restart, so you are not repeating the pairing dance every morning.

NO ROOT, NO PC, NO BYPASS

Removing a preinstalled app for the current user is the same command a developer runs from a laptop. Nothing is rooted, nothing is patched, and a factory reset brings the app back. ADB Nexus never bypasses Wireless debugging pairing, USB RSA authorization, lock screens, encryption, SELinux, file permissions or root policy.

WORKS ON THIS PHONE, AND ON OTHER DEVICES

Host mode shows the dashboard, device info, hardware tests and diagnostics for the phone running the app, with no target connected at all. Connect an authorized Android device over Wireless debugging, ADB over TCP or USB OTG and the same interface switches to that target. Actions that need a live session stay hidden until one exists.

CONNECTING IS THE PART OTHER APPS GET WRONG

Android 11 and newer expose Wireless debugging in Developer options, and the pairing code flow is fiddly. ADB Nexus guides it: mDNS discovery finds the port, the pairing code goes straight in, and a QR pairing code can be generated for the target's own scanner. Legacy ADB over TCP and manual host and port entry are there when discovery fails.

PRIVACY

ADB commands and their output, pairing codes, target addresses and serials, package names, file paths, file contents and Wi-Fi scan results are processed on the device. Analytics, crash reporting and installation registration have their own controls.

Recent changes:
New: after your phone restarts, ADB Nexus offers one tap to reconnect, from a notification or its Quick Settings tile. It finds the new Wireless debugging port by itself. Nothing reconnects until you tap, and the offer can be switched off in Settings, Connections.
Fixed: tapping the Quick Settings tile could close the app on Android 13 and older.
Fixed: the tile now updates while it is open, and no longer shows a connection after the app was closed.
