This is the companion app for the adidas SMART BALL (http://adidas.com/go/smartball). However, if you don’t yet have a SMART BALL you can still see tons of kicking tips and training videos by running the app in demo mode.
Being able to control, strike and manipulate the ball is the key to mastering the precision of Xavi, bending it like Beckham or striking it like van Persie. With the adidas SMART BALL you'll fine tune your technique and kick like a pro with instant feedback on power, spin, strike and trajectory, along with exclusive tips and guidance.
App Features: - Kick tips and training for power, bend and knuckle balls - Capture video of your kick to perfect technique - Prove your ability with power and pro challenges - Challenge your friend with a top speed challenge - Share your best kicks with friends - Comprehensive ball mastery technique videos - Track your progress in the Record Book - Demo Mode can be used without a ball to view video content and explore the app
compatible with the adidas SMART BALL - size 5 regulation weight, quality thermal bonded 32 panel ball with integrated sensor package - ball feel and reactionis exactly like a normal ball - Integrated sensor inside the ball detects speed, spin, strike and flight path data and instantly relays kick data to the smart ball app on your device via Bluetooth 4.0

Great for training and telling stats about certain shots and kicks. You need to have a smart mi ball.

The best training app
★★☆☆☆
Sadly disappointed. I thought my daughters (club level) would latch onto this and work on shots without my instruction. My gripes are like all others; can't strike a moving ball, no distance readings, speed WAY WAY off, spin reading inconsistemt, and you practically need a military length runway to get the shot to register. During the cold winter months it would be nice if you could get it to work (consistently) with 20-30 feet of room. I recommend thinking thrice before buying.
