Why am I getting an authorization code when I'm not doing anything on my app. I'm looking for a file that was sent to me and the app keeps scrolling before I can find anything

Online login is sending me in an endless loop because I've changed my number in the 5 years since the last time I had a subscription, clicked on help, and it says I need two of 3 things Phone, Email, or Authenticator. Authenticator runs through the same loop, so you must have access to your old phone # to authenticate. The help page says I need to set up a new account, which requires that I set up a new email address just to use this app, which I'm not going to do. I'll take my money elsewhere.

Have creative cloud for yea rs. now very confusing with apps that come and go (spark, aero), limited device logins to 2 (but I have workstation, laptop, ipad and smartphone), new apps with different plans, 'new' screen layouts that are worse (acrobat), confusing spinoffs for Photoshop, acrobat and première. Quo vadis, adobe?
