Description

Adoptable makes it easy to find and adopt your new best friend! View animals and shelters near you, or search for your ideal pet, and mark your favorites to view later. Then, when you're ready, contact the shelter right through the app. All data is sourced from the public Petfinder API, and should have pets and shelters from a variety of places.

Recent changes:
Version 3.0 updates Adoptable to use the new Petfinder API 2.0. Please note that the old API will be deprecated in January 2020, so please update to the new version before then. New features/bug fixes include:

- More attributes on pets
- Better categorization in shelters
- Better location usage to find nearby pets and shelters
- Fixed issues with pagination
- General stability fixes

★★★★★ I have looked at adoptable right after my dog and best friend to the end Rocko passed. It was absolutely devastating and horrible. I came across Penny, she was on there from Pet Smart, my family wasn't sure if we were going to get her. Until about a week later an event for free dogs came. Penny was there!! We adopted penny, and she is the best dog in the world. Thank you adoptable for helping me find a furry friend again, I really needed it. I 100% recommend to future pet finder's. Good Luck guys!!!!

★★★★★ Don't listen to the haters. This app is super great, and it has a lot of animals from dogs and cats to reptiles and birds. I might get a new puppy!

★★☆☆☆ Typically, this is a good app! It has a nice design, and you can easily find adoptable animals. Unfortunately right now the pictures aren't loading, so this needs to be fixed in an update (at least on my phone it's not working).
