Description by Lakehorn AG (from Google Play)

*** AeroWeather: for pilots, aviation enthusiasts, and everyone who is serious about the weather!

AeroWeather provides quick and intuitive access to METAR and TAF for airports worldwide. Data can be shown in its original (raw) format or as fully decoded and easy understandable texts. AeroWeather is helpful for weather preflight-briefings, but also to just get very precise weather. All weather data is cached for offline access. There are many settings for units and format of METAR/TAF available.

The app features a built-in airport database, which includes basic airport data like runways*, sunrise/sunset, twilight times, timezones etc.

Please consult our web-site for a full description of all features.

* Additional functionality which needs to be unlocked (one-time purchase). In-app purchases are not transferable between platforms.

Comments on AeroWeather for Android

★★★★★ Darrall Pullen · Nov 4, 2024

A must-have for any pilot or trainee. I use this tool as part of my flight planning for each and every flight. Easy to use with great features. The best by far and worth the small fee. AeroWeather is exceptional value for money

★★★★★ Chris Rudisill · Nov 3, 2024

As a CFI, I use this app multiple times daily. It allows me to list frequently used airports for easy access and search others as needed. The list/diagram showing the amount of head and cross winds makes it easy to judge which runway I will expect to use when I arrive. It's also the easiest way to get airport NOT AMS. This is easily my most-used flying app. ABSOLUTELY spend the few dollars for both the one-time and annual upgrades. They are equal to about 5 minutes of Flying time!

★★★★★ Dan Renner · May 15, 2025

This is simply my favorite weather app as a pilot. It just works great! Runway views are cool. So many added features that don't distract from the main METAR & TAF objective of the app.

★☆☆☆☆ Aerodatic · May 23, 2025

Autoload/Refresh not working. Unable to load any data.

★★☆☆☆ Casper Keir · Apr 1, 2026

Past 3 day this app has battled to load data keeps saying no connection even when connected to Wi-Fi other metar/taf app works fine 😒

★☆☆☆☆ Majid Feyzi · Jan 17, 2024

How bad. Such an app that is connected to the whole world must have ads in it, which some people like me, even though they are satisfied with the app, delete it.

★★☆☆☆ Timothy Higgins · Sep 24, 2025

Addition of meteogram is unwelcome and gets in the way of what is otherwise a brilliant and useful app.

★☆☆☆☆ Yeassir Ullah · May 4, 2026

On the android version you need to pay to have widgets and pay again to have METAR form reliable source 🙄🤦‍♂️
