Description
Aged Cheese will present your photos and videos in an automated, rotating slideshow picture frame.
Simply select a directory on your device from which to display photos and videos and Aged Cheese will present all of them, changing the displayed media at a configurable time. Choose from different frame transitions such as Fade and Slide.
You can even set a schedule to automatically start and stop the slideshow! Leave your device plugged in to automatically start a slideshow in the morning and stop in the evening every day.
Most slideshow or digital frame apps only show pictures. Aged Cheese works with photos and videos. It supports most photo and video formats, such as png, jpeg, gif and mp4, depending on your device. Bring more life to your decor!

Finally, a modern slideshow app that can handle a folder with lots of pictures. The settings are a little bare at the moment. There is no option to change the order of pictures (I think it's random atm) or to change how the photos fit into the display, so you will have borders (being able to "fill" in the image to the display would be nice). If you do have a folder with thousands of pictures you have to wait a few seconds after picking the directory for the slideshow to begin.

When I was looking to convert my tablet running Chromes into a digital photo frame, the suggestions and How-tos were focused on using cloud-based storage for the photo source. Instead, I wanted to use the tablet's local storage. This app has proven perfect at doing one thing very well: randomize and display photos from a dedicated folder stored on the tablet as a slideshow, minus any ad-encrusted cruft. Thank you for making this!
