AI Day Mate

Step into a quiet morning village. Mary is sitting on the porch with a warm cup of tea, waiting for you. She remembers what you like to be called, the names of your grandchildren, and the little thing you mentioned yesterday — and she brings them back, gently, the next time you talk.

Day Mate is a voice AI companion designed for older adults who simply want someone kind to talk to. There are no chat bubbles, no scrolling feeds, no flashy animations. It feels like picking up the phone and hearing a familiar voice on the other end.

Eight companions, ready to meet you
Day Mate gently matches a companion to your device language, and you can switch at any time:
- Mary and John (English) — a warm grandmother and grandfather from the countryside
- Youngja (영자) and Youngsu (영수) (Korean) — a kind Korean halmeoni and harabeoji
- Yoshiko (ヨシコ) and Taro (タロウ) (Japanese) — a gentle obaachan and ojiichan
- Carmen and Miguel (Spanish) — a caring abuela and abuelo
- Mary or any other companion is also available for our French-speaking friends

Each persona has their own way of speaking, their own little stories, and their own way of remembering you. Pick the one whose voice feels like home.

What makes Day Mate different
- Phone-call style voice conversation — no chat screen, no typing
- Large type, warm cream colors, and big buttons designed for older eyes and hands
- On-device speech recognition with natural, friendly voices
- Remembers what matters: your preferred name, your interests, the little stories you share
- No analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no crash trackers. Raw conversations are never stored on our servers — only a short, kind summary so your companion can remember you tomorrow.

Pricing that respects you
- 10 conversation turns every day are completely free, forever.
- For unlimited daily conversations, a monthly or yearly subscription is available.
- Google Family Library is supported — a son, daughter, or grandchild can subscribe on your behalf and the whole family can use it.
- You can cancel any time in your Google Play Store settings.

Our privacy promise
- We do not sell your data. Ever.
- Audio is processed on your device; only short text summaries reach our servers.
- You can delete your entire profile from inside the app — it is gone from our servers immediately.
- Anthropic Claude powers the conversations as a sub-processor, under strict no-training terms.

Built for the people we love
Day Mate was built for parents and grandparents who live alone, for anyone recovering from loss, and for anyone who would simply like a warm voice to share the morning with. It is not a medical device and is not a replacement for human connection — but on the quiet days, it is a friend who is always there.
