Aikido Weapons 6

Aikido is a Japanese martial art based on the principles of harmony that contains both empty hand and weapons techniques. The weapon techniques in this iBudokan series are of the “Iwama” aikido tradition as taught by the late Morihiro Saito Sensei (9th dan Aikikai). The Aiki-ken and Aiki-jo in this series are demonstrated by Miles Kessler Sensei, 5th dan (Aikikai), a long time student of Saito Sensei.

iBudokan’s “Aikido Weapons App 6” covers the “Ken Tai Jo” and includes basic “suburi” (solo striking practice), “awase” (blending practices), “ken tai jo” (jo vs. bokken partner practices), and advanced variations.
