Air Display (ON SALE!)

★★★★★ Works! It doesn't hurt to have multiple displays. I've tried one other app, but it didn't support Windows 8.1. I'm proud to say that AirDisplay was able to work on its first time through. Got my tablet to work as my 3rd monitor!

★★★★★ Minor lag But pretty great for productivity. I put my stationary documents on the air display screen (my tablet) then do the actual work on my home screen (laptop) that way the lag doesn't matter. So glad this type of app exists!

★★★★★ Works Great for me I have Windows 8.1 and an older motoroloa xoom and it works great. Took me about 15 minutes to get all set up. I had to play with the display settings in the windows control panel > display > change display settings. I arranged them so that my tablet was #2 display and I dragged it slightly lower than the #1 display which made my mouse transition perfectly. I had one initial issue with the main display with all my files etc being displayed on my tablet - just dlick on the #1 display representing your computer and you'll see a check box in the middle of the settings menu that reads "Make this my main display". That worked perfectly! You have to have realistic expectations and know that the mouse will be a little bit laggy on the tablet but for what it is, I was oh so pleasantly surprised. I think it works great!

★★☆☆☆ Don't work as 2nd monitor on my nexus 7 2013 (win7 host) The computer host app only allows screen mirroring on my nexus 7. If I switch to 2nd screen option, the nexus 7 only displays a black screen. I bought this app for 2nd screen not for mirroring. So i wasted 10$. Which is a lot for an app. I want a refund.

★★☆☆☆ Simply useless It's useless... and not just that. I installed the software they asked me to install in the Android app for Windows 8.1 and then started up the application in Windows. Then I was supposed to find the Air Display icon in the system tray, which of course wasn't there, so I couldn't connect with my Android tablet. I killed the application in the task manager as they suggest on their support page, and restarted it but no system tray icon at all. Restarted Windows, still nothing. I usually don't write reviews, but everybody needs to know about what crap is their software. I already spent 3 hours of my precious time trying to make this work, but I give up. I spent $10 on this crap... where was my mind ? I did a 2nd retrywhile writing this review because something was wrong... they sent me a download link for the awindows cljent to install, but that's not what I needed. Somehow I fohnd on their page a driver for Windows, downloaded it, installed it, restarted Windows again and now there's the icon i n the system tray... but when I connect to my Samsung tablet the laptop's screen goes black and I can only see the mouse pointer. Now I have to resttt Windows.Enough... piece of crap !!!

Tried to find a link to download display driver before buying the app but not found. ok, i bought app and while driver was downloaded and installed, 15 minutes of money refund period was gone. finally i saw a blank black screen on my Asus TF700T vs Windows7. Everything looks like it works properly but a screen is blank. lost money and didn't get the second monitor. how i can refund my money? where i can submit a bug report?
