Enjoying the game so far, though admittedly I'm not too far into it. I'm using a Game sir G8 Galileo controller on my Pixel Fold and have had no issues at all yet. Very similar feel to Link to the Past, but a more fleshed-out narrative that seems a bit more mature as well. Will update as I make progress, 4 stars in the meantime until I've experienced a bit more.

*Review Update* The developer came through and fixed the problem. The game now works and is a very charming 16 bit era RPG. Thank you! - *Original Review* The game, as of 2nd of December 2024, does not start. It blocks the user login through Google Play, stating that the app hasn't completed the verification process and is available only to developers. After that, it remains in the splash screen and doesn't proceed.

It might be a good game if the mobile controls weren't utterly dire, with half second delays between selecting the floating joystick and it actually doing anything. Once I got the wooden shield which arbitrarily wielded / unwielded itself without any on-screen interaction it became unplayable, and I uninstalled it.

I really want to like this. Graphics and gameplay ideas are up my classic Zelda alley, but this mobile port controls terribly. Using an Xbox USB-C game pad, there's a VERY bad lag between button presses and action. I switched to touch: it's similar. It's manageable in dungeons but unplayable in combat. I think there's a good game here (maybe is on consoles), but the input lag is ruining it. There's also no settings to remap controls or disable touch overlay when playing with a controller.
