Think it's good. I get notifications each day when the pollen count is medium to high. Hay fever and asthma flare up when it is high, I try to stay indoors when it is above the low range.

This app has been amazing to predict hay fever and be prepared. I love how you can add different commonly used locations to monitor air quality. We have home, school and grandparents home saved. 🏡

I have fairly severe allergies. Have been trapped inside on numerous occasions for fear of huge swollen eyes, labored breathing and all sorts of itchy. This app enables me to enjoy as much of the day as I can while making sure my allergies aren't exacerbated by unnecessary exposure to pollens and poor air quality. Honestly, a life giver. I can be active and able because of Air Rater

Update 19 September 2023: app nagged me to rate it, even though I have already rated it. 0 stars for every app that nags to be rated. -1 stars if it nags even though I have already rated it. Latest update (I installed on 2 November 2021) breaks the app. When I open the app the first screen just flashes constantly. Can't even get out of the app without turning phone screen off and on and trying a force quit. Phone GUI then is very flakey until I reboot my phone

This app used to be good until the update. You used to get actual pollen counts. I'm anaphylactic to grass and certain other pollens. I rely heavily on pollen forecasting and counts to ensure I take the correct amounts of medication to keep me out of hospital and to stay alive. This is literally life and death. The medications I have to take have insanely nasty side effects. I need to take the lowest doses possible. But without specific pollen counts, I'm overdosing constantly from necessity.

My only worry is wood heater smoke and there doesn't seem to be any provision for this. The app says the air quality is good, yet the air is more often blue with smoke from badly burning wood heaters.

App has invaluable information, but the UI feels clunky and could be more efficient (fewer clicks for example). As another example it often forgets the settings you had in the map view. Notifications have never worked for me (latest Android version on a pixel). Could you please address this?

Mixed experience for this app with pollen count. Inconsistent readings. It will tell that the pollen is Medium for today, and then a few hours later it will say it's very high from 3 days ago. What happened to today's count. Also, it will get stuck on a few days ago count, and then progressively give you the same count the next day with it saying the count from 1 days ago, and then 2 days again the next day, and so on as the days progress. Not sure what's happening to it
