I love the AJC. It plays such a crucial role in the fabric of Atlanta's and Georgia's civic and community culture. I do have some suggestions for improvement to the UI. 1. My devices are in dark mode 95% of the time. I really wish the app matched that through all sections. Like on the home page, the featured stories have a white background while the top and bottom rails are in black. 2. I think the rails, specifically the bottom rail should be simplified & icons refreshed.

When the app issues multiple notifications, only the first one links to the correct story. After that, all the notifications link to the story in the first notification, even though the subsequent notifications refer to different stories. Even within the app, links for a story sometimes take me to another story.

The AJC and this app develops important journalism with responsible journalists. I miss more via print, but this is a different medium. The work is important to read. I hope more effort goes to making these stories available to differently abled people across the spectra of psychologic and physical differences. I also miss the glories of printed comics, cartoons, and photos, though Luckovich is consistently among the greatest of a profession troubled by downturns in advertising and print.

Top news has three headlines. Next category is politics. Mostly same headlines. Repetition of news stories across several categories = few actual news events reported. Old Stories stay up for days. Politics should not be a priority category since most 'political news' is just campaign lies, fake drama, with no actual facts about legislation, policy or relevant information as it affects citizens. Spare me the campaign BS talking points offered as news.

I can't get the paper feature to work. I can see the page thumbnails at the bottom but the actual page isn't visible. I was a heavy user of the e-paper app, and it's beyond disappointing that the improved AJC News app won't work for me.

Intrigued with digital paper so I downloaded app. Tried to look at epaper, which wouldn't load. After 15 minutes gave up and uninstalled app. If AJC is stopping its print edition, then this digital edition will kill the AJC forever. Very disappointed.

Basic functionality especially the section task bar (above the individual pages) is glitchy when it works at all. Not a fan, the previous app worked much better
