It was a fantastic app, a 5! It hasn't been updated and doesn't work as well with new Androids. It does work for me by leaving the app open on the clock face screen at night or when expecting an alarm (I leave it on a charger). You might have to experiment with permissions. It still works better than a number of other music alarms I've tried.

I have been using this alarm for years but since I got a new phone 2 years ago it stopped functioning. I now got another phone and the issue remains. There is obviously a compatibility problem with the newer versions of Android. Either update the app or remove it from the store, Selling an alarm clock that doesn't ring is pointless. 2022 update: the app still doesn't work
