Interesting info, easy to use, and walks you through all the parts of the prison. ***IMPORTANT: Download the app and the audio before arriving to Alcatraz island, and bring headphones. The internet can be spotty there, but it all works perfectly if you plan for it and download everything beforehand!

App doesn't play. It forces you to have the phone by your ear (even with earbuds) and still runs intermittently so the experience is incoherent.

The app won't play unless it detects the phone is to your ear since it plays through the earpiece and you can't go back once it starts, except however it detects doesn't work so it won't play. Really put a damper on the tour for me. I only got it to work through an uncommon glitch by locking my phone multiple times after it shows a specific "paused, put phone to ear" pop-up. My friend had earbuds and that worked for her so bring some if you want to use your phone. Or use the device they provide.

Wow. Whoever put this together has zero customer service experience. Nothing tells you that you have to hold the phone to your face, the park people are USELESS and grumpy. You aren't told about the app until you're at the island which depending on weather you might be able to download the audio, and the final insult is that you can use the audio more than once a day ON YOUR OWN PHONE.
