I absolutely love this game. The extremely simple mechanics allow for level design and character choices that require a surprising level of strategy on the part of the player. Unlike a lot of turn-based strategy games, there is no single formation or attack style that will work across all levels. Each level presents a new challenge that you must respond to by experimenting to develop a new strategy.

Very fun xcom-like, if a bit simpler. Dont let that fool you though as the game has a surprising amount of strategic depth and a large assortment of different units with unique abilities. Definitely give it a try, especially if you like xcom-like games.
