Alpaca VPN: fast and secure

Alpaca VPN (Альпака VPN) is a VPN client for Android that turns on with one tap. No sign-up needed: access comes with a key, and the connection to the server is encrypted.

WHY ALPACA

• Fast VPN. Modern encryption protocols keep the speed up on both Wi-Fi and 4G/5G mobile networks.
• Protected tunnel. Traffic to the VPN server is encrypted, so intermediaries on a public network cannot see its contents.
• Choose your server. The list shows the latency to every server: pick a country yourself or keep the default server.
• No third-party ads: no ad networks and no advertising ID.
• One button. Protection turns on from the app or right from the notification shade.
• Honest counters. Speed and traffic volume are shown on the home screen.
• Several devices. See where you are signed in and remove the ones you no longer use.

HOW TO START

1. Install Alpaca and accept the terms on the first screen.
2. Tap the free trial button («Попробовать бесплатно») to get trial access with no sign-up and no card.
3. Choose a server and tap the connect button.

PRIVACY

• We do not analyse the contents of your traffic.
• We do not collect location, contacts or files.
• What exactly is processed and why is explained on the consent screen at first launch and in the privacy policy.

SUBSCRIPTION

• We remind you in advance when your subscription is about to end.
• Link an email or a messenger account and your subscription comes back on a new phone too.
• Your access key, subscription and devices are in the account section of the app.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

What is a VPN key?
It is your access to Alpaca. You can move it to another device or paste it via the «У меня есть ключ» (I have a key) button.

Do I need to sign up?
No. An email or a messenger account is only needed to restore your subscription.

Does Alpaca work on mobile networks?
Yes, on both Wi-Fi and 4G/5G mobile networks.

Why use a VPN on public Wi-Fi?
In a café, hotel or airport the network is shared. Alpaca encrypts your traffic to the server, so its contents are hidden from the network owner and other users on it.

How is a VPN different from a proxy?
A proxy usually redirects the traffic of individual apps and does not encrypt it. A VPN works at the level of the whole device, and traffic to the server goes through an encrypted tunnel.

How do I manage devices?
The account section shows where you are signed in, and you can remove any device you no longer use.

How do I contact support?
Open «Поддержка 24/7» (Support 24/7) in the app — we answer around the clock.

What language is the app in?
The app interface is in Russian.
