Those are not the correct letter sounds As an educator and a mother I am sorry but I cannot recommend this app and will not use it to teach letter sounds as they are horribly wrong, as cute as the app may be. The B sound is not "Buh" it's just "b" and D is not "duh" its just "d" and so one. Every letter the kids add a "uh" to the end of the sound that should not be there. M sounds like Mmmmm not "Muh" This is very important when children start learning to read and they see the word "bat" they've been taught to sound it out as "Buh - a - tuh" then have no clue what word that could be because Buhatuh is not Bat. It's "B-a-t" without all the extra "uhs" Also I wish the app used the short vowel sounds as itchy and not like icecream as those sounds are the harder ones for children to remember.
