Alpine Launcher

Alpine Launcher is a complete classic home screen for Android. It replaces your default launcher with a carefully built nostalgic frontend.

This is a one-time purchase. There are no ads, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash-reporting SDK. Alpine is designed to keep your data on the device whenever it can.

HOME SCREEN
Arrange apps across multiple pages, group them into folders, and keep favorites in the dock. Long-press to move icons, create folders, or add Android widgets. Swipe down for Notification Center. Double-tap Home for Recent Apps. Swipe left for Limelight Search and an A–Z app drawer.

Customize the look with bundled wallpapers or photos from Camera Roll, icon packs, per-app icon overrides, and renamed labels. Activate optional phone bezels which frame the screen. A vintage dock, 3D Touch, and other launcher options are available in Settings.

ALP STORE
Browse and enable Alpine’s built-in software from one place. Enabling an app does not download extra packages, and every title is included with your purchase.

Apps include (but not limited to) Music, Camera and Gallery, Clock, Weather, Calculator, Compass, Voice Memo, Contacts, Newsstand, Bookshelf, and Chat.

Games include Tappy Duck and High Rise, with Game Center for friends, leaderboards, and invites.

Annelida lets you tweak animations and textures from a single catalog.

IRIS
Iris is Alpine’s on-device voice assistant. Swipe up from the home screen or double tap the home button to wake her. Speech recognition runs on your device after a one-time model download. Microphone permission is required for voice input.

LOCK SCREEN
An optional classic lock interface can appear when you wake the device. It is cosmetic only and does not replace your PIN, pattern, password, or biometrics. An optional on-device passcode can gate Alpine’s overlay; it is not a device security lock.

PRIVACY
Home layout, notifications, keyboard input, Iris audio, Camera and Voice Memo captures, Clock alarms, and most preferences stay on your device.

Limited data leaves the device only when a feature needs it — for example weather, RSS feeds you add, a one-time Iris model download, periodic Google Play license checks, and, if you opt in, Game Center, Chat, Call, online play, and push alerts.

Chat messages are stored on Alpine’s servers and are not end-to-end encrypted. Call is an internet voice feature for Game Center friends. It is not a phone service and cannot reach emergency numbers.

GETTING STARTED
After install, set Alpine as your default home app in Settings, or when Android asks. You can switch back at any time under system default apps.

Alpine is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, and Japanese.

Alpine Launcher is coded with the assistance of AI, but does not include any visual or auditory assets generated by AI. All assets in Alpine are made by hand.
