Please add motorcycle to the English part of the app. Many of us English-speaking foreigners do ride motorcycles and have motorcycle licenses in China. Yet the option to choose a motorcycle as the method of travel is only found in Chinese. I would like to use this feature in English, so I can know which roads and cities to avoid.

Amap was great until about 1 month ago. It started to have trouble rerouting when I deviate from original route. It keeps on assuming I'm on original route. I had to exit the map totally, then open app to start new navigation, then only it shows new route and correct car position. Hope that a fix is coming soon

The GPS guidance is clearer than other maps, hardly missed any exit. I believe if they enhance the features in local residence road serch results, for now, if you want to go to any residential area, only search with landmarks nearby.

When I open it, I always wonder if a person who's in a hurry, maybe in the life or death situation, is ever gonna (and forced to) use it. I never get access to the app first, I get Taobao or any other app opened first (by force) with some tricky ad, in the beginning. I always end up with a Taobao, or Pinduoduo over my screen instead of the map. Now I need to go to 急诊, and instead of quickly calling a taxi or looking for the route, I enjoy the ads. Think about it.

This app gave a wrong error message about my connection being bad until I switched my VPN to use a China server. Then it would not let me do anything unless I entered my cell phone number. It correctly guessed my (non-Chinese) country code. But every time that I clicked on the Get verification code, nothing happens. Web research indicates that they actually require a Chinese cell phone number. The app should have warned me about both of these restrictions.

Can't use it without registering with your phone number, and it doesn't accept most phone numbers.

Installed AMap because I want to see the more location info of hotels I reserved in Shanghai. This app could not even find the address of the 1st hotel I searched, when Google Map can. So I uninstalled AMap right away.
