They removed the best part of this app. The ability to VERY EASILY connect to your fire stick or your fire TV. You now have to sign i to an Amazon account in order to connect to your fire device through Wi-Fi. If you've updated download the older version from. APK MIRROR. They made this terrible app to use a remote co troll for your fire tv or fire stick devices. You have go login to an Amazon account to connect this remote and app to a fire stick, or fire tv device now too. Download the old version

It's not working, the scan feature turns to no channels after find 71. Used to work but now it doesn't work.

Channel scan broke. Connectivity issues even when using an Ethernet connection, shows network status as unknown. My guess is that Amazon is degrading the experience and functionality intentionally, since the recast is no longer sold. Why should they support a product they no longer sell? Easier to just make everyone's recast no longer work, essentially bricking it.
