Ambe Cine House developed its own regional VOD/OTT platform. The company aims to spread the folk music and the culture of Uttarakhand in all nooks & corners of the world. The folk songs of Uttarakhand are a reflection of its rich cultural heritage and the way people live their lives in this geographically most challenging Himalayas region. Common themes in the folk music of Uttarakhand are the beauty of nature, various festivals, religious traditions, cultural practices, folk stories, historical characters, the bravery of ancestors, and love ballads.
We wish to make various web series, films, sort-films, musical videos, documentaries, radio programs, etc both in local Garhwali and Kumauni languages. Later we may go to other languages too. This VOD/OTT platform will be solely dedicated to the entire Uttarakhandi community worldwide.
Ambe Cine House also intends to provide a solid platform for talented youths of Uttarakhand in different and varied entertainment segments and simultaneously create employment opportunities.
Let’s all come together to grow, expand and spread out our rich culture, folk music, dance, traditions, and language before dying!
