Ambient light Application

★★★★★ Works well for me with my NVIDIA Shield. Of course, it does not work with copy-protected content like Netflix or Amazon Video, but it works fine with Plex, YouTube, etc. My only wish is that you could set a transition/smoothing time for the LEDs responsiveness, because sometimes they will flicker based on what's on the screen. It seems like a bug with the screen capture, since changing the capture settings (like frame rate or capture quality) will affect when/where it flickers, but it won't get rid of it completely. That's the reason for the -1 star, otherwise the app is perfect for me. I don't think it is an issue with my setup, because if I do "color effect mode", it will never flicker. It only seems to flicker when it's screen capturing a mostly white/gray screen. It will also flicker when there's fast panning on the screen, but that's to be expected (and why I would want a smoothing setting). I think the flickering bug on a mostly white screen is a separate issue. Thanks

★★★★★ I am very impressed with how good this works, my only issue is that after about 10/15 minutes of watching a movie or tv the lights begin to flicker and go crazy with all different colors, I turn them off and start again it's ok for a few minutes then it goes again. I'm using an ambilight DIY kit I brought which has a dreamcolour box, is the problem the box or the app? I Have anybody else come across this? Can someone please help? Ok thank you so you recommend a light strip? The one I have just plugs into the dream color type box I brought, Or do you mean the power supply to the android box needs to be better?

★★☆☆☆ Last year, screen capture mode is working on YouTube. But now, all video streams is no longer supporting the effect including NETFLIX, HBO, PRIME.

★★☆☆☆ Trying to get it working on fire stick. It shows led strip not connected. Otg cable is working, and I allowed the app to connect to usb. It says usb serial connected when I hit refresh. That's all it does. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

★★☆☆☆ Doesn't work. The application takes forever to load and when it does the light strips don't even get connected. Where's the refund button.
