Great app for my “dream color light box” from AliExpress. I use it with my t95q android box but almost any android box should work. Setup was easy and works great on all non-drm content. Plex and smart YouTube work great, Netflix does not work but that is not the dev's fault. The light effect is great for watching movies, very immersive. Questions to dev: 1. Can this service automatically start in the background on boit? 2. Does this also work on the new Chromecast with Google tv via an usb hub?

Works well for me with my NVIDIA Shield. Of course, it does not work with copy-protected content like Netflix or Amazon Video, but it works fine with Plex, YouTube, etc. My only wish is that you could set a transition/smoothing time for the LEDs responsiveness, because sometimes they will flicker based on what's on the screen. It seems like a bug with the screen capture, since changing the capture settings (like frame rate or capture quality) will affect when/where it flickers, but it won't get rid of it completely. That's the reason for the -1 star, otherwise the app is perfect for me. I don't think it is an issue with my setup, because if I do "color effect mode", it will never flicker. It only seems to flicker when it's screen capturing a mostly white/gray screen. It will also flicker when there's fast panning on the screen, but that's to be expected (and why I would want a smoothing setting). I think the flickering bug on a mostly white screen is a separate issue. Thanks

Trying to get it working on fire stick. It shows led strip not connected. Otg cable is working, and I allowed the app to connect to usb. It says usb serial connected when I hit refresh. That's all it does. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Last year, screen capture mode is working on YouTube. But now, all video streams is no longer supporting the effect including NETFLIX, HBO, PRIME.

I have dreamed light box. So I use this program. But not working like I want. Program calculate 74 LED lights. But should be more. Anyway program need fix. I have android TV Sony.

Does not work with any video - Tried many apps. Basically only works with the android menu system - so if you want ambilight menu this is fine - No use whatsoever with any video on any app at all.
