It works if you use together with display tester and a black screen....(of course you could just invert the colors in settings...its basically a shortcut..) .leaving a white nav bar at the bottom....for a number of hours...just leave it on at night and use inverted colors for a while....it will even out. People please stop calling it burn in, it is image retention...only phosphor can burn aka a crt tube...a plasma and AMOLED screen suffers image retention NOT burn, AMOLED led pixels cannot burn. So Nick who said it can fix image retention but not burn....dude you're completely clueless. What you see on the screen IS image retention! Nothing more.

On my Galaxy s8, apps having the nav bar turn black had caused me very slight burn in. I set this thing up, let it go for about 3 hours, and it's 99% fixed! This app basically balanced out degradation. The majority of my screen had natural degradation while the nav bar hadn't caught up because AMOLED screens turn off pixels completely to achieve black. Having the nav bar blast on white for a few hours balances that out. Please note, my burn in was very minor. Very very minor. You could only see it if you were looking. Now it's gone completely on white screen, and 99% gone on blue and green (checked w/ dialer code *#0*#) So for more sever cases, I advise running this over night.

As far as I can tell this app does absolutely nothing but take you to your settings to change it to invert colors. Which is a option that has been in Android for while now. This app is pretty much useless.
★★☆☆☆
This was useless. I have more than navigation bar screen burn and changing these settings did nothing to help.
