Anchor Aid

Anchor Aid helps you anchor more safely with the right scope, a clear swing circle, and a reliable drag alarm.

► SCOPE CALCULATOR
Enter depth, bow height, and scope ratio to get recommended rode length. Supports chain, rope+chain, and rope. Get wind-based scope suggestions and warnings when you don’t have enough rode.

► ANCHOR DRAG ALARM
Set your anchor point with GPS and choose a drag threshold. Get audio and vibration alerts if your boat moves beyond the limit. Background monitoring keeps the alarm active when the app is in the background.

► SWING RADIUS & MAP
See your swing circle on the map with anchor point and current position. Check distance and bearing in real time so you know you’re staying in a safe radius.

► BOTTOM TYPE & ANCHOR GUIDE
Pick bottom type (sand, mud, rock, etc.) for suitability hints. Use the anchor guide to compare anchor types and the step-by-step guide to anchoring technique.

► SESSION HISTORY & SETTINGS
Save and review past sessions. Use metric or imperial units. Adjust default scope, drag threshold, and alarm sound to suit your boat and conditions.

Anchor Aid is a tool to support good seamanship - not a replacement for keeping a proper watch or using official charts and equipment. Always use your own judgment when anchoring.

Built for boaters who want a clear, practical anchoring assistant.
