Description
Crossword puzzle app that downloads popular crossword puzzles from the internet and allows users to solve them.
Pinch zoom to enlarge or shrink the puzzle grid. Drag to scroll the puzzle grid.
The clue area is scrollable - simply drag your finger over the clue to scroll left and right.
You can navigate the puzzle grid by: - Using the hardware arrow keys (holding shift moves to the beginning/end of the word) - Using the volume rocker - Using the enter key to move between clues (shift-enter will move to the previous clue) - Using the enter key to change directions (configurable option) - Using the camera button to change directions - Using the space bar to change directions (configurable option) - Tapping on a square - Double tap on a square to change directions - . (period) advances one character - , (comma) goes back one character

Good selection, easy to use AndWords is fairly easy to use and offers a nice selection of puzzles. A couple of suggestions: 1. After reaching the end of a word, automatically go back to unfilled letters in the same entry; 2. When entering an incorrect letter, backspace should delete that letter. Minor quibbles, but would make the app even easier to use. Overall, a nicely designed app. Thanks!

Can't read clue The game is hard enough when guessing the words without having to guess the clue. Would be five stars if I could read the entire clue and not the first few characters. (DROID pro)

Needs Fix! Completely dead on Galaxy Note 5. The app loads fine and downloads puzzles fine. But it accepts no input from the keyboard or screen, no letters or direction changes.

shortyz is better couldn't see the full clues. couldn't backspace a letter without "check"ing the whole puzzle.

Ugh.... You know why Apple rakes it in There is no quality control out here in the Android Marketplace.. apparently it's really hard to make a decent crossword app
