ANESTHETIC PLANNER
• Mark the drugs and gases on hand — the planner only suggests techniques you can deliver.
• Enter the patient's home medications, allergies, anesthetic history, comorbidities, aspiration risk, and positive urine-drug-screen results.
• Add procedure context: ASA physical status, urgency, and surgical site.
• Get eight techniques (general with volatile, TIVA, RSI, spinal, epidural, peripheral nerve block, MAC, local) ranked Feasible / Limited / Hold / No agents — showing the agents that satisfy each requirement and what's missing.
PATIENT-SPECIFIC ALERTS (every one cited)
• Anticoagulation hold-times for neuraxial and deep blocks (ASRA 5th ed.).
• GLP-1 agonist aspiration risk and full-stomach handling (ASA 2023).
• Malignant-hyperthermia susceptibility, pseudocholinesterase deficiency, and dozens of medication and comorbidity interactions.
• Toxicology findings — cocaine, amphetamine, opioids, fentanyl, methadone, benzodiazepines, THC, PCP, alcohol — each with its anesthetic implication.
DOSE CALCULATOR (adult & pediatric)
• Weight-based induction, neuromuscular blocker, opioid, reversal, and emergency doses, with volumes.
• Local-anesthetic maximums (plain and with epinephrine).
• TIVA / infusion-rate calculator (mL/hr).
EMERGENCY / CRISIS CARDS
• Break-glass walkthroughs: malignant hyperthermia, local-anesthetic systemic toxicity (LAST), anaphylaxis, can't-intubate-can't-oxygenate, laryngospasm, bronchospasm, and high spinal.
DIFFICULT AIRWAY
• Screen for a difficult airway and get the 2022 ASA approach (awake vs. asleep, rescue plan).
LIVE VITALS MONITOR (TEACHING)
• Manual-entry vitals — HR, SpO₂, NIBP/MAP, RR, EtCO₂, temp, train-of-four, depth (BIS) — with alarm bands, trend sparklines, a case timer, and an event log.
• Optional simulated demo stream for rehearsal. NOT a patient monitor.
PRIVATE & OFFLINE
• 100% on-device. No account, no network, no analytics, no patient data. Case inputs live only in memory for the session.
NINE LANGUAGES
• Interface in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Russian. Clinical content stays in English to match the source references.
IMPORTANT — DECISION-SUPPORT ONLY
Anesthesia Ready is an educational aid for trained, licensed professionals. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a patient monitor. It cannot see the full clinical picture — the airway exam, labs, the procedure, or anything you don't enter. It is not a substitute for a formal pre-anesthetic evaluation, current references, the package insert, or your own clinical judgment. Adult dosing is the standard; confirm pediatric and obstetric dosing with dedicated resources. Always verify against current guidelines and institutional policy.
