Anime Print: How to Draw Anime

Learn to draw anime step by step, with a pencil, on paper, at your own pace.

Every lesson is one character taken apart into ordered steps. You start with a
proportion grid, build the pose on a simple jointed mannequin, tighten it into clean
line art, then finish with colour and shading. The stroke you are meant to add next is
picked out in blue, so you never have to guess what changed between one step and the
next.

That is the part most drawing apps skip. Copying a finished picture teaches you that
picture. Building it up from proportions and construction teaches you the next one too.

What Is Inside

- Over 400 characters to draw, grouped into 50 collections
- Between 10 and 84 steps per character, around 45 for a typical full-body pose
- Anime and manga style: heroes, fighters, ninjas, magical girls, school scenes
- Every lesson goes all the way to colour, not just to the outline

How It Works

- Tap a character, then swipe forward one step at a time
- Continue painting picks up the drawing you left half finished
- Newest shows what arrived in the latest updates
- Search by name, and keep the characters you like in Favourites
- Photograph your finished drawing and keep it in your own gallery inside the app
- Share a drawing straight to your friends or your feed
- Draw on consecutive days to build a streak

Who It Is For

Beginners who have a pencil and no idea where to start, and improvers who can already
draw a face but lose the body. No drawing tablet needed. Nothing to sign up for, and no
account to make.

Good To Know

The lessons load over the internet, so you will want a connection when you open a
character for the first time. The app is free and supported by ads, with a single
optional purchase that removes them for good.

This app is made for learning and practice. The characters are the property of their
respective owners, and we are not affiliated with them. Missing someone you want to
draw? Tell us and we will look at adding them.
